I am delighted to announce that Ralf Marohn has been elected as the FDP candidate for the Rhine-Palatinate district council. This election is a strong sign of the factual politics and competence that the Free Democrats focus on. As someone who himself always believes in the importance of well-founded factual arguments, I am convinced that Ralf Marohn is the right candidate to make the Rhein-Pfalz district fit for the future.

Ralf Marohn has an impressive track record. As a graduate in business administration (FH) and long-standing managing director of an international management consultancy, he has not only gained economic expertise, but also in-depth experience in local politics. He has been the honorary mayor of Neuhofen since 2017 and previously served as an alderman for over a decade. His role as parliamentary group leader of the FDP in the Rheinauen district council and his strong result in the last district council election underline his broad support and success.

In his introductory speech directly to the FDP, Ralf Marohn made it clear that he is pursuing clear goals as district administrator. The digitalization of administrative processes, the creation of modern working conditions and economic development are just some of the issues he wants to tackle vigorously. I find his plan to make the administration more efficient and attractive, for example by introducing digital files and mobile working models, particularly impressive. Such measures are not only important for the employees of the administration, but also a service to democracy, as they improve the administration's ability to act from the citizens' perspective.

The economy is also particularly close to Marohn's heart. With his many years of experience in business consulting, he has the expertise to support companies in the Rhein-Pfalz district and prevent company relocations. His ideas for strengthening tourism, which is currently underutilized, are further proof of his strategic way of thinking. With cycling and hiking trails, bathing lakes and historic buildings, the district has enormous potential that needs to be tapped into.

However, I am particularly impressed by his way of emphasizing factual arguments and sound knowledge. Ralf Marohn shows that politics can be characterized by rationality and foresight even in challenging times. This is a quality that I deeply appreciate and that I have experienced time and again in discussions with him. His ability to explain complex issues in an understandable way and develop constructive solutions makes him an ideal candidate for the district council.

I support Ralf Marohn wholeheartedly and will do my best to accompany him on his path. With him as District Administrator, the Rhein-Pfalz district has the chance to develop positively and sustainably in the coming years. I call on everyone to vote for Ralf Marohn on February 23, 2025 - for a future characterized by factual politics, competence and commitment.

Anyone who can run a company in Germany and China, has founded it from scratch, is a local mayor on the side and shows what is possible when you get involved - that's Ralf Marohn. An entrepreneur with vision and, I hope, soon to be a district administrator from Neuhofen.
